About the position

The Senior HRIS Manager at Packsize is a key member of the people team responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and strategic direction of the HRIS. This role requires collaboration with various HR functions and IT to ensure the HRIS aligns with organizational goals. The position combines operational and strategic HRIS responsibilities, making it essential for the successful implementation and management of HRIS projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily operation, maintenance, and support for HRIS
  • Develop and implement an HRIS strategy aligned with organizational, HR, and IT/IS goals
  • Work across the HR team to prioritize and enable system enhancements
  • Partner with IT, Information Systems, and Information Security to integrate HRIS within broader technology architecture
  • Establish practices and processes to ensure data integrity
  • Manage internal tickets, provide user support, develop training materials, and maintain system documentation
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, enhancements, integrations, and testing, as well as change management for system modifications
  • Develop change management strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in at least 3 Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent)
  • Transformational HR experience and understanding of change management fundamentals
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining systems across multiple teams and geographies
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements specific to North America and Europe
  • Ability to explain HR & HCM concepts to less knowledgeable individuals
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical and business HRIS requirements
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse individuals
  • Practical experience using multiple project management methodologies
  • Excellent leadership skills and proactive problem-solving abilities
