About the position

The Senior Human Resource Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support to assigned teams at Conagra Brands' Archbold, Ohio plant. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, project management, and training, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. The position requires a strong partnership with management and HR peers to enhance organizational effectiveness and support employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily business HR partnership and consultation for assigned teams and leadership.
  • Provide coaching and advice to management on administering HR programs and resolving complex employee issues.
  • Lead the implementation of approved employee relations policies, supporting the leadership team.
  • Organize Human Resource programs within the assigned department, addressing EEO, unemployment, litigation, retention, termination, and turnover issues.
  • Partner with HR peers, corporate HR, and other business support teams including Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Legal.
  • Influence business leaders through coaching and partnership.
  • Implement approved programs and policies to enhance diversity and ensure EEO/AAP compliance.
  • Facilitate recruitment pipeline for current openings and future talent needs in partnership with staffing organization and external partners.
  • Lead the plant's internal bid review process, including interviewing and selection.
  • Design and implement ad hoc reporting, conduct analysis, and draw conclusions to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • PHR/SHRM-CP or advanced degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources; Labor relations experience
  • Demonstrated experience with ERISA, EEOC, and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects
  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS
  • Experience with conflict management and mediation.
