We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for a Senior Human Resources Analyst role in our Process Improvement Team. This position performs professional and consultative work in the design, development, and maintenance of Human Resources (HR) processes (systems). The position provides support in analyzing HR Information systems, monitoring performance, and resolving issues to support department and HR's needs. The position requires the ability to work independently, and as part of a highly effective team, to collaborate closely with other Human Resources team members, internal, and external stakeholders. The Incumbent will be required to manage multiple projects and meet designated.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures consistent application of Human Resources' vision, policies, and key strategic initiatives, and adherence/compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Assists with the design and execution of strategies to enable the effective application and utilization of HR programs and systems.
  • Partners with HR leadership team in defining strategies related to improving customer service, operational efficiencies and establish performance metrics necessary to support HR programs and processes.
  • Identifies non-automated and non-strategic business processes and works to design, execute, document, measure, and monitor more effective and efficient solutions.
  • Defines and documents current state and to-be business processes and maintains process maps.
  • Prepares charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflows.
  • Solicits continual feedback on any deployed practices to determine effectiveness, acceptability, and sustainability.
  • Defines and develops training/job aids, processes, guidelines, and documentation to be used by the HR division and end-users across the County.
  • Provides guidance/recommendations based on current policies and practices and helps develop solutions to address department needs and opportunities in process efficiencies.
  • Assists in developing content for the Process Improvement Strive for Process Improvement initiative and training HR Staff on HR Business programs and processes.
  • Assist with audits of the various processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration or closely related field.
  • Three years of varied professional level experience in human resources.
  • In lieu of the degree requirements, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certification in human resources or a closely related field.
  • Experience conducting gap analyses for large organizations.
