Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies and programs while balancing employee advocacy and business needs.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support in recruitment and retention of critical talent.
  • Conduct performance coaching and management for employees.
  • Identify and resolve HR-related problems effectively.
  • Develop leadership decision-making and communication skills within the organization.
  • Generate solutions and implement them with input from senior HR teammates.
  • Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends.
  • Ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently.
  • Perform advanced employee relations functions and conduct sensitive investigations.
  • Handle worker's compensation and safety regulations processes.
  • Coordinate the administration of Leave of Absence programs and transitional work accommodations.
  • Conduct training for employees and supervisors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in PC and MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures.
  • Understanding of recruitment trends and technologies.
  • Familiarity with state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Knowledge of staffing and employment practices.
  • Understanding of employee relations procedures and applicable laws.
  • Strong consultative and coaching skills.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Project management skills.
