About the position

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will administer HR policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. You'll also provide comprehensive HR support to a designated client group in recruitment and retention of critical talent, continuous performance coaching and management, problem identification and resolution, and development for more effective leadership decision and communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Generating solutions and implementing with input from more senior HR teammates
  • Anticipating and planning for long-term human resource needs and trends
  • Assuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently
  • Performing advanced employee relations functions
  • Conducting complex/sensitive employee related investigations
  • Handling worker's compensation, first report of injury database and safety regulations process
  • Coordinating the administration of all Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodations
  • Conducting employee and supervisor training

Requirements

  • Human Resources Generalist experience 5+ years
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • PC skills and MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
  • Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies
  • Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws
  • Knowledge of staffing and employment practices
  • Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law
  • Consultative and coaching skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Business Acumen
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear manner and with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a timely manner
