In this role, you will provide HR support and counsel to a business or functional line, which includes staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations, and performance management. You will ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures and act as a liaison to other departments and functional experts. Your responsibilities will include administering core human resources programs, developing and recommending solutions to a variety of human resources issues, consulting with management on the interpretation and administration of HR policies, and working with managers and associates to investigate and resolve associate relations issues. You will also conduct staffing support, which includes sourcing, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks. This position requires you to identify key barriers and core problems, applying problem-solving skills to deal creatively with complex situations. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, making decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results. You will independently perform assignments with limited instruction, determining and developing an approach to solutions, and may oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. While you will contribute to employees' professional development, you will not have hiring or firing authority.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
