As the Senior Human Resources Generalist at GXO, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of Human Resources activities. This includes staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring a union-free work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to champion the company's values, fostering a differentiated and engaged workforce. In this role, you will work closely with the operations team, providing counsel and guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal regulations. A key aspect of your job will be facilitating new hire orientation and ensuring a positive onboarding experience for all new employees. Additionally, you will assist supervisors with performance management, including the delivery of disciplinary actions for hourly employees. You will also be responsible for maintaining personnel files and training materials, ensuring that all documents and manuals are current, accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies and government regulations. Your expertise in HR practices will be essential in creating a positive work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
