About the position

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our manufacturing plant and its team members. This position is critical in executing our people initiatives, ensuring great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The role requires a proactive approach to managing HR functions and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance employee engagement and performance. In this position, the Sr. Human Resources Generalist will analyze relevant government rules and regulations, keeping management updated and ensuring that the company's policies and procedures align with statutory requirements. The individual will also optimize the performance management process, track the status of performance improvement plans, and manage performance-related projects as well as other HR projects as necessary. The role involves preparing, updating, tracking, and maintaining various records and reports, including policy manuals, HR Activity Reports, new hire and termination lists, and organization charts. The Sr. Human Resources Generalist will partner with client group leadership to maximize employee performance, evaluate training needs, and develop and provide a variety of training programs. Additionally, the individual will assist in the communication and delivery of recognition processes and events, work with the Safety Committee to maintain compliance, and support and lead engagement initiatives within the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze relevant government rules and regulations and keep management updated, ensuring company's policies align with statutory requirements.

  • Manage performance-related projects and other HR projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, economics, business management, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in HR, Employee Relations, On-Boarding, Recruitment, and Training.
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel data analytics and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports, business correspondence, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong translation skills in communication and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, industry practices, and legal requirements related to HR policies and practices.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
  • Ability to work and support multiple shifts.
