We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will play a crucial role in delivering HR services and support for one of our functions. This position will serve as a strategic business partner, providing essential support to functional leadership and employees at all levels to ensure their success. The Human Resources Generalist will assist employees and management in resolving both day-to-day and larger-scale work-related issues. This includes gathering information, assessing potential risks, recommending appropriate solutions, and advising management accordingly. The role also involves providing employee relations support, such as conflict resolution, advising management on disciplinary actions, and performance improvement counseling. Additionally, the HR Generalist will facilitate employee engagement by promoting clear communication, managing change, and coordinating training and development resources, as well as activities and events. In terms of recruitment, the HR Generalist will assist management throughout the hiring processes, ensuring that all required documents, files, and reports are prepared and processed in a timely manner. The role also includes reviewing and processing approved personnel actions, such as payroll, compensation changes, and leaves of absence. Furthermore, the HR Generalist will collect, review, and prepare information for statistical and regulatory reporting, surveys, employee communications, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees and management in solving day-to-day and larger-scale work-related issues by gathering information and assessing potential risks.
  • Provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution and advising management on disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling.
  • Facilitate employee engagement through clear communication, change management, training and development resources, and coordinating activities and events.
  • Assist management throughout the recruiting and hiring processes, ensuring timely preparation and processing of required documents, files, and reports.
  • Review and process approved personnel actions, including payroll, compensation changes, and leaves of absence.
  • Collect, review, and prepare information for statistical and regulatory reporting, surveys, employee communications, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and four years of job-specific experience, or eight years of HR experience.
  • HR Certification (a plus).
  • Broad knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and practical application governing Human Resources functions.
  • Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and adapt known methods and procedures to new situations.
