About the position

The primary purpose of the Senior Human Resources Generalist position at Integer is to perform HR-related duties on a professional level across various functional areas, including employee relations, training, recruiting, benefits management, payroll functions, and performance management. This role requires interaction with all levels of the organization, necessitating a sensitivity to the needs of Associates, the site, and the business. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will act as a source of information and provide coaching and guidance to employees and site leadership regarding employee relations and human resources processes, ensuring the implementation of company policies and procedures. In this role, the Senior Human Resources Generalist will adhere to Integer's core values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements. This includes compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and other regulatory requirements. The position involves participating in the development and communication of site strategic objectives that align with Integer's goals. The Senior HR Generalist will partner with site leaders to develop short and long-term workforce plans and actionable talent strategies that support business objectives. Coaching site leadership on performance management, organizational design, team effectiveness, and communication best practices is a key responsibility. The Senior HR Generalist will also collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) to identify and recruit talent for exempt positions and work with site leadership to fill hourly/direct labor positions efficiently. This role includes developing management capabilities in interviewing and selection processes, conducting orientation and compliance training, and resolving Associate concerns in a timely and equitable manner. Additionally, the Senior HR Generalist will facilitate focus groups, surveys, and town halls to assess and deploy culture initiatives and recognition programs. They will also assist in planning and administering the site's annual Benefits Enrollment events, ensuring Associates understand and utilize new benefit programs. The role requires maintaining accurate Associate data in HRIS/Workday and analyzing talent-related metrics and trends. Compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws is essential, as is participation in enterprise-wide HR project teams and leading site-based projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements.
  • Participate in development and communication of site strategic objectives aligned to Integer.
  • Partner with site leaders in development of short and long term workforce plans and actionable talent strategies.
  • Coach Site Leadership on performance management, organizational design and optimization, team effectiveness, communication, feedback and other best practices.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition COE to identify and recruit talent for site exempt positions.
  • Partner with Site leadership to fill hourly/direct labor positions timely and attract the best local talent to Integer.
  • Develop management capabilities in interviewing & selection process; ensure effective onboarding processes are in place.
  • Conduct orientation, corporate compliance, and/or management development training as needed.
  • Partner with Site Leadership in resolving Associate concerns and/or complaints in a timely, fairly, and equitably manner.
  • Provide direction and training to Associates and Site Leadership regarding policy interpretation.
  • Facilitate focus groups, surveys, round tables, town halls and other forums to assess and deploy culture initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning and administration of the site's annual Benefits Enrollment events.
  • Ensure accurate and timely transfer of Associate data changes to centralized Payroll processing team.
  • Effectively manage and maintain associate data and transactions in HRIS/Workday, ATS and other HR technology systems.
  • Promote and support Associate and manager self-service of available on-line HR tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all local/state/country labor laws and regulations; maintain accurate Associate recordkeeping.
  • Actively participate on enterprise-wide HR Project teams.
  • Successfully lead a site based project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years progressive HR experience supporting manufacturing or similar environment/client group.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws.

Nice-to-haves
