About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a dedicated Regional Senior Human Resources Generalist to oversee HR functions across our branches in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.
  • At least 3 years in a fast-paced HR environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide a team of HR Coordinators, contributing to the development of department goals and metrics.
  • Coordinate and enforce HR policies and procedures across all branches.
  • Manage corporate HR plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with all employment laws and site contractual requirements.
  • Handle workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and benefits administration.
  • Investigate and resolve harassment, discrimination, and employee engagement claims, escalating as necessary.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams on screening, interviewing, job offers, and orientations.
  • Train new HR personnel and maintain compliance with employee files and records.
  • Utilize HRIS (WinTeam) software for onboarding, updates, and reporting.
  • Communicate employment law changes and support cases such as EEOC.
  • Analyze and recommend modifications to enhance branch effectiveness.
