About the position

Cintas is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to support the HR generalist functions of more than one light industrial plant and also independently manage the HR functions at one specific location. This role is pivotal in managing turnover, recruiting, payroll and benefits administration, and driving positive employee relations. The Senior HR Manager acts as the "go-to" consultant for performance management, disciplinary documentation, investigations, and coaching/training for managers and field HR managers. Additionally, this position provides guidance to HR managers at other locations to ensure compliance with the Company's legal obligations under the FMLA, ADA, EEO/Affirmative Action, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment, OSHA, and other employment laws. The role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that all HR practices align with legal standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage turnover and recruitment processes for multiple light industrial plants.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration for the assigned location.
  • Drive positive employee relations and act as a consultant for performance management.
  • Provide coaching and training for managers and field HR managers.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations related to employment laws such as FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
  • Guide HR managers at other locations in HR functions and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or Human Resources management or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 3+ years' experience in Human Resources management (preferred).
  • Experience in compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring, and training (preferred).
  • Ability to travel 35% of the time with overnight stays (preferred).
