About the position

The Senior Human Resources Specialist for the New Leader Development Program at Dominion Energy is responsible for managing and facilitating leadership development initiatives for new supervisors and managers. This role involves program facilitation, coaching, content design, and ongoing support for leaders transitioning into their roles. The specialist will also analyze program impact and recommend improvements, while advising and partnering with HR managers on policies and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the program manager for the New Leader Development Program.
  • Facilitate program sessions both in-person and virtually.
  • Design, develop, and maintain program content.
  • Coordinate with guest speakers and presenters for cohort sessions.
  • Gather and analyze data to measure program impact and recommend improvements.
  • Advise and educate managers on HR policies and programs.
  • Provide assistance and leadership to customers and co-workers.
  • Lead or coordinate Talent Management & Development initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and managing leadership development programs.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Strong program/project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of company organizational structure and policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with Insights Discovery and Korn Ferry assessments.
