About the position

The Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and executing healthcare and commercial projects within a growing engineering firm in the Greater Austin, Texas area. This position combines technical expertise in mechanical engineering with project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while fostering client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain current client relationships and secure additional project work
  • Prepare project proposals and ensure accurate estimates and executable scopes
  • Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Conduct field observations and attend meetings
  • Assist with marketing and business development efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm
  • Strong project planning and delivery experience
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
  • Current PE certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Eligible to work in the United States
