This opening is for an established asset management firm located in Boston, seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join their mobile team. The primary responsibility of the developer will be the design and development of mobile iOS applications tailored for various financial and retail web applications. This role necessitates close collaboration with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance teams, and production support teams to ensure successful project delivery, maintenance, and ongoing support of the applications. The Senior iOS Developer will be tasked with the development of iOS mobile clients for existing applications, providing technical assistance to Project Managers and Business Analysts during project planning and review sessions. The developer will also be responsible for designing low-level solutions for new features, bug fixes, and enhancements, as well as participating in peer-to-peer code reviews. Troubleshooting application performance and security issues in production will be a critical part of the role, along with working closely with the Quality Assurance and Marketing teams to resolve defects. Additionally, the developer will assist with the transition of applications to support teams and manage application documentation effectively.
