About the position

The Senior iOS Developer position at an established asset management firm in Boston involves designing and developing mobile iOS applications for various financial and retail web applications. The role requires collaboration with Business Analysts, QA teams, and production support teams to ensure successful project delivery, maintenance, and support in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Development of iOS mobile clients for existing applications.
• Providing technical assistance to Project Managers and Business Analysts with project planning and review sessions.
• Designing low-level solutions for features, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Participating in peer-to-peer code reviews.
• Troubleshooting application performance and security issues in production.
• Working closely with Quality Assurance and Marketing team in resolving defects.
• Assisting with application transition to support teams and managing application documentation.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with iOS development.
• Hands-on experience building universal iOS apps for iPhone and iPad.
• Experience implementing advanced search capabilities, presentation of large data grids, animation, and data visualization.
• Experience with Swift is a must have.
• Strong hands-on experience debugging and testing iOS apps in XCode.
• Solid experience with XCode storyboards, universal layouts, and defining view constraints.
• Experience with financial iOS app development strongly preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum preferred).
