About the position

The Senior iOS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and high-performance iOS applications specifically for retail banking customers. This role requires collaboration with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to implement and optimize app features, ensuring a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development and a passion for creating applications that serve millions of end users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance iOS applications for retail banking customers.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to implement and optimize app features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Swift and Objective-C.
• Optimize app performance and ensure responsiveness through continuous monitoring.
• Integrate backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, technologies, and tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices.
• Experience with Xcode, Instruments, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git and experience in Agile environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Prior experience in the financial or banking sector.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Push Notifications and Deep Linking functionalities.
