About the position

The Senior iOS Developer at Ampcus Inc. is responsible for developing native iOS applications using Swift and the latest Xcode IDE. This role requires strong technical skills in iOS development, particularly with Swift UI, and the ability to mentor junior developers. The position emphasizes collaboration within an Agile environment and adherence to coding best practices, including security and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS applications using Swift and Xcode.
• Mentor junior developers and provide support for their growth.
• Engage actively in the iOS developer community to enhance knowledge and expertise.
• Adhere to coding best practices around security, accessibility, and testing.
• Utilize Agile methodologies in software development.
• Work with source code management tools and development collaboration tools.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in iOS development with Swift and Swift UI.
• Experience with the latest version of Xcode (Xcode 16).
• Ability to mentor junior developers.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git and SVN.
• Experience in financial mobile iOS development is a plus.
• Comfortable using Terminal or other *nix shell.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern frameworks like Combine.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for issue tracking and requirements documentation.
