The Senior IBM MDM Developer with Java position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the full lifecycle of application development. This includes designing, coding, and debugging applications using various software languages, with a strong emphasis on IBM MDM and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MDM development, particularly with Java extension classes and database extensions, and will be expected to contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the banking and financial services domain. In this role, you will engage in software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, and software reviews. You will be responsible for identifying code metrics, conducting system risk analysis, and performing software reliability analysis. Your expertise in Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) will be essential as you model and simulate software solutions. Additionally, you will design front-end graphical user interfaces and ensure thorough software testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also support, maintain, and document software functionality, integrating new software with existing systems. Evaluating and identifying new technologies for implementation will be part of your role, as will maintaining compliance with industry standards. Furthermore, you will implement localization or globalization of software as needed, ensuring that our applications are accessible and user-friendly for a diverse audience.
