About the position

This position is part of the Identity and Access Management team at QBE, focusing on automating identity processing and enhancing workflows to ensure company security. The role involves collaboration with diverse teams to implement company-wide identity management solutions, requiring both development skills and a strong understanding of identity technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain JML and other workflows.
  • Create quicklinks to reduce and refine manual processes.
  • Maintain Workday and Active Directory authoritative source connector.
  • Manage source code and builds for compliance reporting.
  • Identify risks and issues and develop recommendations to address them.
  • Manage continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Handle complex issues and escalate if necessary.
  • Follow SDLC and associated methodologies.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions through various means such as flowcharts and code comments.
  • Ensure customer impacts are assessed in the design and delivery of solutions.
  • Deliver solutions that meet customer needs, including eBusiness and online tools.
  • Handover application changes and enhancements and provide necessary support.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Perform complex development activities beyond the competency of a Software Engineer.
  • Analyze business requirements and implement solutions.
  • Complete impact analysis and determine test coverage requirements.
  • Provide support to end users during UAT and post-production testing.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with BA/QA and SMEs during application development.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage risks and issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working with SailPoint technologies (IdentityIQ, LCM).
  • 5 years of relevant experience in identity management and development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Java and ability to write scripts.
  • Experience with IdentityIQ Administration and Implementation.
  • Experience with Active Directory and LDAP.
  • Experience utilizing SQL and understanding data structures of relational databases.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with business users.

Nice-to-haves

  • Develop technical project plans and aid in project resourcing.
  • Develop and execute test cases and test plans for SailPoint solutions.
