About the position

The Senior Implementation Manager at Volt is responsible for overseeing and improving project implementation processes within the context of construction management, particularly in the nuclear power sector. This role involves reviewing key project documentation, ensuring quality control, and providing technical guidance to enhance project performance and efficiency. The position requires a strong background in construction management and experience in nuclear power plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Review key project documentation to identify strategies for improving schedule performance and resource efficiency.
• Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOT) associated with assigned scope prior to field activities.
• Remediate identified WOTs that lack quality or contain errors.
• Review and provide improvements to testing and acceptance plans.
• Identify activities that would benefit from mock-ups and provide guidance on their effectiveness.
• Communicate personal Operating Experience and develop response strategies for project activities.
• Maintain knowledge of codes, standards, and industry trends related to Enterprise Risk Projects.
• Provide timely feedback to Project Managers and Department Management on project strategies and implementation plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management.
• Experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant.
• Knowledge of production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power plant.
• Experience with feedwater heaters and their internals.
• Experience with steam systems and ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code vessels.
