About the position

The Senior Industrial Engineer - Modeling at Micron Technology plays a crucial role in the Technology Development (TD) organization, focusing on establishing and maintaining manufacturing flows for new technology nodes. This position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure that development processes align with manufacturing requirements, manage costs, and support the introduction of new technologies. The engineer will influence the direction of the TD organization and contribute to the planning for global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required safety training and adhere to safety policies.
  • Collaborate with TD partners for future product introductions.
  • Work with Process Engineering and site teams to manage development POR flows.
  • Maintain Model of Record (MOR) process flows and communicate updates.
  • Coordinate maintenance of XORBP process and deliver contingency lists.
  • Evaluate impacts of dPOR and MOR process flow changes.
  • Lead Contingency List business process in collaboration with PDE and PI.
  • Calculate Cost of Transition (CoT) scenarios and analyze impacts on manufacturing.
  • Design and coordinate projects supporting global partners.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business processes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of semiconductor experience.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication tool configurations and processes.
  • Intermediate understanding of Semiconductor Fab area planning modeling requirements.
  • Familiarity with planning and reporting systems (PDM, MES, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of financial planning concepts.
  • Intermediate skills in SQL, JMP, Python, and Tableau or PowerBi.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ambiguous problem statements and frequent change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and project teams.
