About the position

HCA Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in defining, documenting, and maintaining integrations within the ERP space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical integration analysis and will be adept at collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders. As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and documenting integrations between various applications, whether on-premise or in the cloud. In this position, you will work closely with functional, technical, and project teams to deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner. You will be expected to understand business needs and lead the integration design and development processes, ensuring that the outcomes align with the organization's goals and initiatives. Throughout the implementation phase, you will collaborate with the development team and other technical staff to identify and resolve roadblocks, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful integration. Your responsibilities will also include defining integration strategies, planning them according to established deadlines, and creating technical documentation that explains integrations to non-technical stakeholders. You will lead various projects, both large and small, in defining, documenting, piloting, and deploying integration solutions. Additionally, you will act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, data, policies, and information systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as experience with Infor tools such as ION and IPA, or similar tools like MuleSoft and Oracle ESB. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred, along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, R, and Perl for data manipulation and analysis. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively across teams and constituencies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with functional, technical, and project teams to deliver solutions timely and effectively, following processes and standards, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand business needs and lead the integration design and development to support business goals and initiatives.
  • Determine that the outcome of the integration has met the organization's needs.
  • Collaborate with the development team and other technical staff to identify and remove roadblocks during implementation.
  • Ensure that all testing requirements are met and testing results documented.
  • Define integration strategies and methods, planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules.
  • Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
  • Facilitate the successful and on-time completion of all development tasks and subsequent implementation components.
  • Lead various projects in defining, documenting, piloting, and deploying integration solutions.
  • Act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, data, policies, and information systems.
  • Lead the impact analysis of requirement/scope changes, negotiating tradeoffs and facilitating agreement.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies by coordinating with security, networking, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience - Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Integration Analysis - Required
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills - Required
  • Experience in Infor tools such as ION and IPA or similar tools such as MuleSoft, Oracle ESB, etc. - Required
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently - Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective relationship-building skills - Required

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cloud computing platforms and their associated services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Preferred
