About the position

The Senior Information Security Analyst for SaaS Security will join the Cloud and Application Security team at Wintrust, focusing on securing the company's SaaS products and API inventory. This role involves collaborating with various business units to establish security standards, monitor compliance, and analyze security risks associated with SaaS applications and APIs. The position offers opportunities to engage in security engineering programs, including application security and vulnerability management, in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with business units to develop SaaS posture standards and drive compliance through monitoring and alerting.
• Analyze data from SaaS applications to create relevant and appropriate threat alerts.
• Proactively monitor for SaaS integration risks and Shadow SaaS to reduce risk landscape across the Enterprise.
• Analyze APIs for security risks and coordinate with development teams in remediation.
• Provide guidance and knowledge on security best practices for SaaS configuration and secure API development in alignment with Wintrust policies and industry standards.
• Assist Application Security with Dynamic Code scanning.

Requirements

• 3-5 years general experience in information security - operations, engineering, incident response, SOC analyst, application security, etc.
• Cybersecurity or related industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA).
• Experience in auditing SaaS application configurations for security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards relevant to SaaS environments.
• Experience with API security or implementation.
