About the position

The Senior Information Security Analyst at McKinstry will enhance the security team's capabilities by leveraging extensive industry experience to analyze complex security issues and implement risk mitigation strategies. This role involves leading incident response efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and effectively communicating security concepts to diverse stakeholders. The analyst will also contribute to the development of security protocols and continuously monitor for improvements in security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Take lead in response to security incidents, coordinating remediation efforts across teams.
  • Ensure alignment to industry standards and provide input to security strategy development.
  • Contribute to drafting security protocols and take lead on security projects as assigned.
  • Continuously monitor and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Maintain real-time visibility into threat impacts to McKinstry.
  • Development of actionable project milestones that show continuous improvements.
  • Demonstrate effective cross-functional team collaboration and communication.
  • Contribute to planning and execution towards increased security maturity (e.g. compliance, certification).
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • CISSP (or equivalent) certification.
  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, SOC, GDPR).
  • Expertise in threat analysis (identifying, analyzing, mitigating threats).
  • 5+ years' experience with Information Security tools, concepts, and practices.
  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft AD and Azure technologies.
  • Experience with drafting security policy, procedure, and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audience.
