About the position

The position involves leading the planning, design, and architecture development for the IT infrastructure team at enGen. The individual will create a blueprint for the network of systems and technological components, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing complex IT architecture, evaluating technology requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the IT landscape. The role also includes mentoring team members and acting as a solution architect for significant projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of IT architecture to meet business objectives.
• Create a blueprint of the architected network of systems and technological components.
• Act as a key stakeholder in infrastructure roadmap planning and execution.
• Design high-level system architectures and ensure integrity by connecting various stakeholder views.
• Evaluate current technology requirements and assess new technologies in line with organizational strategy.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to assess the health of the IT estate.
• Provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining complex business processes and functions.
• Specify and design large or complex systems and ensure appropriate design standards are applied.
• Review system designs to ensure efficient resource use and integration of multiple systems.
• Identify and lead significant improvement programs to achieve measurable business benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
• 5 years in an IT discipline.
• 5 years in a Business discipline.
