About the position

The position involves leading the planning, design, and architecture development for the IT infrastructure team at enGen. The individual will create a blueprint for the network of systems and technological components, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role includes overseeing complex IT projects, evaluating technology requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the IT landscape. The architect will also mentor team members and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consultation to business customers in defining complex business processes and organizational structures.
• Facilitate the development of enterprise business solutions that combine business processes and technological options.
• Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis and opportunity identification.
• Specify and design large or complex systems, solutions, and infrastructure elements.
• Review system designs to ensure appropriate technology selection and resource efficiency.
• Establish policies for selecting architecture components and evaluate design options.
• Use tools to develop complex architectures and produce detailed component requirements.
• Provide technical advice on system development and integration processes.
• Identify and lead significant improvement programs for measurable business benefits.
• Resolve complex architecture and business problems as a technical or business lead.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and manage expectations of stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in an IT discipline.
• 5 years of experience in a Business discipline.
