About the position

The position involves leading the planning, design, and architecture development for the IT infrastructure team at enGen. The individual will create a blueprint for the network of systems and technological components, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role includes acting as a solution architect for complex projects, overseeing the IT landscape, and collaborating with stakeholders to assess the health of the IT estate. The candidate will also maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices, translating strategy into effective business cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consultation to business customers in defining complex business processes and organizational structures.
• Facilitate development of enterprise business solutions that combine business processes and technological options.
• Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis and opportunity identification.
• Specify and design complex systems, solutions, networks, and infrastructure elements.
• Review system designs to ensure appropriate technology selection and resource efficiency.
• Establish policies for architecture component selection and evaluate design options.
• Use tools to develop complex architectures and produce detailed component requirements.
• Identify technical, organizational, and physical environments for product operation.
• Lead significant improvement programs and ensure quality of work performed.
• Resolve complex architecture and business problems and serve as a technical lead for projects.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and manage expectations of stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
• 5 years in an IT discipline.
• 5 years in a Business discipline.
