We bring this customer data together with advanced analytics and research to drive 84.51° sales growth and customer loyalty for both Kroger and our more than 1,500 Insights clients. We are constantly innovating to improve the value of our solutions with our clients, including advancement of our self-serve subscription-based solutions, 84.51° Stratum and 84.51° In-Queries, as well as custom and ad-hoc solutions that span across Custom Insights, Consumer Research, Cloud-based data sets, and APIs. We are seeking a Senior Insights Account Executive (IAE) who will help us build the team and business for the future. Candidates must have a passion for creating trusted client relationships, pursuing revenue targets, a commercial (sales) mindset, skills in diverse stakeholder management, strategic client planning & portfolio management, strong knowledge of the retail & CPG industry, and a passion for connecting client problems & needs to 84.51° solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the revenue growth of the Commercial Insights business.
  • Manage relationships with Consumer Packaged Goods partners, including some of the largest CPGs in the world.
  • Support client business needs such as driving business results, omnichannel insights, new product innovation, brand and marketing strategy, and shopper trends.
  • Create best-in-class client relationships and advance 84.51° solutions in the market.
  • Conduct proactive strategic sales planning and identify sales opportunities.
  • Create compelling sales presentations and earn client investment in solutions.
  • Nurture existing client relationships and develop new stakeholder relationships.
  • Responsible for budget targets, accurate financial forecasting, and maximizing adoption of 84.51° solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver revenue growth and provide client feedback to inform product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of client-facing sales experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience with Shopper Data & Insights Solutions (preferred experience with 84.51° data & insights)
  • Strong knowledge of the retail and/or CPG industry
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred but not required)
  • Periodic travel to clients and/or industry conferences/events
