About the position

As a Senior Instructional Designer for the Compliance Training & Communications Team at Zillow Group, you will lead the development and implementation of compliance training and communication initiatives. This role focuses on creating engaging resources that enhance learning and ensure compliance across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver effective training solutions and manage communication strategies for the Compliance Division.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and manage communication, education, and learning tools for the Corporate Compliance Division.
  • Manage communications for the Zillow Compliance Team, including newsletters, bulletins, and time-sensitive communication plans.
  • Create and deliver a variety of training content, including live and self-led sessions, job aids, manuals, guides, infographics, presentations, FAQs, and videos.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop efficient training and communication resources.
  • Manage reporting functions for compliance training initiatives, including attendance, completion, and test results.
  • Analyze reports to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Plan end-to-end projects and craft strategic narratives for training programs.
  • Create compelling communications to guide over 800 learners through 6000+ training instances.
  • Document processes and assist Subject Matter Experts in optimizing resource utilization.
  • Develop, update, and troubleshoot templates for the self-use library.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent ability to create and tell a compelling story.
  • Mastery of standard content development tools including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Camtasia, Captivate, and at least one online presentation tool (e.g., WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connect).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with course management systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
  • Flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
