About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating enterprise-wide learning solutions that align with the company's business objectives. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create effective learning paths and curriculum content, utilizing sound instructional design principles and best practices. The position demands expertise in instructional design systems and learning technologies, acting as a technical liaison with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional materials and learning resources using the ADDIE model or other accepted instructional design processes.
• Maintain knowledge of trends in instructional design, learning methodologies, and technology solutions.
• Research current trends, tools, and techniques for content and curriculum design.
• Create design standards and templates, integrating technology-based tools into the development process.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of learning programs, supporting continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of larger scale learning and development initiatives.
• Partner with internal customers to clarify business objectives and identify performance gaps.
• Lead projects, negotiating scope and timelines while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Communicate actively with stakeholders to ensure solutions have a demonstrable business impact.
• Support Talent Development in strategy execution and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Certification in training, development, learning, or performance improvement.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience with a proven ability to create innovative content, including online programs and instructor materials.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design theory, and performance improvement models.
• Experience with multimedia authoring, graphic creation tools, and learning management systems.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex projects in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Expert in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
