About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating enterprise-wide learning solutions that align with the company's business objectives. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create effective learning paths and curriculum content, utilizing sound instructional design principles and best practices. The position demands expertise in instructional design systems and learning technologies, acting as a technical liaison with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional materials and learning resources.
• Research current trends and tools in instructional design and learning methodologies.
• Create design standards and templates, integrating technology-based tools into the development process.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of learning programs and support continuous improvement.
• Own and manage larger scale learning and development initiatives.
• Partner with internal customers to clarify business objectives and recommend solutions.
• Lead projects, negotiate scope and timelines, and meet deadlines with quality expectations.
• Communicate actively with stakeholders to ensure solutions have a demonstrable business impact.

Requirements

• Certification in training, development, learning, or performance improvement.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience with a proven ability to create innovative content.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models.
• Experience with multimedia authoring and learning management systems.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex projects.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products.
