About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in the AEC Sales Enablement team, focusing on creating innovative and engaging training materials to support product launches and ongoing sales enablement. This position involves collaboration with sales leadership and subject matter experts to define best practices for instructional design, ensuring that training content is effective and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team and subject matter experts to create training materials.
• Record, edit, and produce video content for training purposes.
• Package videos into learning modules and create instructional materials that are functional and engaging.
• Identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies for content delivery.
• Consult with Program Managers to identify learning gaps and content requirements.
• Identify innovative techniques for rapid content creation and translation.
• Provide leadership and define best practices for the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Regularly report on project progress and track towards team goals.
• Ensure all materials adhere to Product Marketing and Sales Enablement standards.
• Add content to learning management systems and manage learner assignments.
• Provide basic administration and training for sales enablement tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Adult Education/Learning, Instructional Systems Design or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in instructional design or video production, preferably in a software company.
• Experience using multimedia authoring tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline & Rise 360, and Adobe.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, changing business environment.
• Demonstrated success in coaching instructional design team members.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms.
• Working knowledge of streaming audio and video, compression methods, and e-learning development.
• Experience with sales enablement, adult learning, and instructor-led training development.
• Experience creating job aids and presentation materials.
• Experience with technical writing, script development, and storyboarding.
• Familiarity with the Google Suite.
