About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer at Intuit will be responsible for aligning educational programs with security objectives and regulatory compliance. This role involves designing and developing educational content while collaborating with global teams to deliver security best practices throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning sciences, instructional design, and a proven ability to implement effective learning strategies that enhance organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sustainable training solutions using solid instructional design methodology.
• Understand the unique needs of various business teams to produce effective learning strategies.
• Produce and revise training materials to keep course content current.
• Create and design rigorous tests for certification of learning in Storyline.
• Perform quality assurance processes on training materials.
• Engage with stakeholders to define security risk and compliance requirements for training initiatives.
• Develop internal communications strategies and training materials for stakeholders.
• Drive effective communications throughout the learning development program lifecycle.
• Identify program risks and implement recommended mitigations.
• Develop and report on program health and success metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in adult learning/education design and development, instructional design, or similar capacity.
• Strong graphic/visual design skills for content creation.
• Strong technical and creative writing skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end course development requirements.
• Hands-on instructional design experience with e-learning development software, including Articulate Storyline, Vyond, and Camtasia.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand articles.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience driving projects independently and improving end-to-end processes.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and collaborating with diverse teams.
• Experience working in an Agile approach, with a preference for persona-based learning.
• Familiarity with compliance programs such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOC 2, and PCI is a plus.
• Knowledge of Information Security is advantageous.
• Experience in AI integration is a distinct advantage.
• BA/BS in instructional design technology, education, communication, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced Articulate Storyline skills and Adobe Illustrator proficiency.
• Experience in compliance programs such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOC 2, and PCI.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Information Security.
• Experience and knowledge in AI integration.
