About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer at Intuit will be responsible for designing and developing educational content that aligns with security objectives and regulatory compliance. This role involves collaboration with global teams to deliver security best practices throughout the program or product lifecycle, leveraging a deep understanding of learning sciences and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sustainable training solutions using solid instructional design methodology.
• Understand the unique needs of various business teams to produce effective learning strategies.
• Produce and revise training materials to keep course content current.
• Create and design rigorous tests for certification of learning in Storyline.
• Perform quality assurance processes on training materials.
• Engage with stakeholders to define security risk and compliance requirements for training initiatives.
• Develop internal communications strategies and training materials for stakeholders.
• Drive effective communications throughout the learning development program lifecycle.
• Identify program risks and implement recommended mitigations.
• Develop and report on program health and success metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in adult learning/education design and development or instructional design.
• Strong graphic/visual design skills for content creation.
• Strong technical and creative writing skills.
• Experience developing learning courses end-to-end, from analysis to post-training assessment.
• Hands-on instructional design experience with e-learning development software, including Articulate Storyline and Camtasia.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand articles.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in an Agile approach.
• Familiarity with compliance programs such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOC 2, and PCI.
• Knowledge of Information Security.
• Experience and knowledge in AI integration.
