About the position

The Senior Instructional Designer will lead the design and development of engaging and effective learning solutions, including e-learning courses and instructor-led training. This role involves conducting needs assessments, collaborating with subject matter experts, and overseeing multimedia production to ensure high-quality educational materials that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of interactive learning solutions, including e-learning courses and instructor-led training.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and create compelling learning materials.
• Create detailed storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning solutions.
• Oversee the production process with multimedia developers and graphic designers.
• Stay current on trends in instructional design and educational technology.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and accessibility of learning materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior instructional designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development.
• Advanced proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with multimedia development tools and graphic design software.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
