The Senior Instructional Designer position is a critical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining curricula and training programs aimed at enhancing employee performance across various functions. This role involves conducting thorough needs assessments, selecting appropriate instructional models, and creating instructional content that meets the diverse needs of learners. The Senior Instructional Designer will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop high-quality instructional materials and ensure that these programs are effectively implemented and evaluated for continuous improvement. In this position, the designer will collaborate with leadership teams and business SMEs to create engaging learning experiences that align with business goals. This includes setting clear learning objectives, designing comprehensive learning solutions that incorporate various delivery methods such as eLearning, video, simulations, and instructor-led training. The designer will also be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of industry tools and processes, facilitating training sessions, and managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to quality standards. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing training needs, as well as the ability to mentor less experienced designers. The Senior Instructional Designer will also be tasked with developing evaluation plans to measure the impact of training initiatives on business performance, ensuring that all training materials meet established learning objectives and are revised based on feedback from stakeholders.
