About the position

As a Sr. Instructional Designer & Content Developer at Workday, you will play a crucial role in developing learning materials that enhance employee skills across the organization. This position focuses on creating impactful learning experiences through various modalities, including e-learning and instructor-led training, while collaborating with business partners to identify skill needs and address key gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop both instructor-led training and on-demand e-learning across various topics.
  • Advise on instructional design strategy and recommend learning methods and measurement strategies for new programs and courses.
  • Build a variety of assets to support learning programs, including videos and instructor materials.
  • Lead design projects and enable collaboration among advisors and subject-matter experts.
  • Collaborate with partners to build project plans, align timelines, and assess course effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, content development, or graphic design.
  • Experience in learning and development design is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with key development platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of video design/editing, graphic design, and Articulate Rise platform is preferred.
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with diverse partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
