About the position
The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a full-time child neurologist for a tenure-accruing position at the rank of Senior Instructor. This role involves joining a multidisciplinary team to develop a pediatric neurocritical care program in collaboration with the Division of Pediatric Critical Care, focusing on direct patient care primarily in the inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Participate in direct patient care primarily in the inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Critical Care faculty to build and grow a Neurocritical Care program.
- Engage in educational activities, including teaching residents and fellows.
- Contribute to research initiatives within the Division of Child Neurology.
- Support the development of subspecialty fellowships in child neurology.
Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME accredited child neurology residency.
- Eligibility for Board certification in Child Neurology.
- Eligibility for licensure in New York State.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
