About the position

Many of the world's top engineers and scientists come together in our Water business because they view a community's interaction with water a bit differently-as a single holistic system, rather than unconnected networks divided by jurisdictional boundaries. Working throughout the hydrologic cycle, we are delivering sustainable solutions to make sure water is where it should be and available when needed. Our experts guide our work with scientific rigor, an innovative spirit, and a vision for growth. Every day, we help communities improve, reuse, and protect this precious resource for future generations. By 2025 we're hiring 2,000 people (like you) to join our team. Grow with us, H2O+U. Stantec has been partnering with our clients for centuries to improve the quality of life around the world. We operate with the strength of a $4.8B company paired with the agility of an established practice that has delivered some of the most iconic and cutting-edge projects around the world. This proud Legacy has fostered a culture of innovation and safety, leading our team to design some of the world's most impactful water projects-projects vital to both local and global communities. At Stantec, we take pride in our ability to provide quality solutions across California. Operating across 6 key locations (Walnut Creek, Sacramento, Rocklin, Pasadena, Irvine, and San Diego) our one-water perspective spans the life cycle of capture, treatment, use, reuse, and discharge, optimizing every facet of water management to sustainability serve the needs of people, industry, and the environment. While project opportunities are in no way limited to the state of California or municipal clients, Stantec has a long history of providing world-class engineering and construction services to key regional clients including San Francisco PUC, Metropolitan Water District (MWD), City of San Jose, City of San Diego, City of Sacramento, Sacramento County, LADWP, Inland Empire Utility Authority (IEUA), EBMUD, Contra Costa CSD, Contra Costa WD, and Orange County Sanitation District to name a few. Are you ready to join our Instrumentation and Controls team? Stantec is currently seeking a Seasoned Instrumentation and Controls engineer with strong interest in being part of a purpose-driven organization that is focused on helping our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. Successful applicant will work with a multidiscipline group of engineers and designers providing technical services to public and private sector clients.
