About the position

The Senior Integration and Test Engineer at Solidus Technical Solutions will be part of the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, responsible for integrating, verifying, and validating products. The role involves developing plans and procedures, debugging system functions, and ensuring product performance in both lab and field environments. The engineer will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support complex satellite ground systems and participate in Agile program activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates to the on-site SETA team via a daily status page and in-person engagements
• Support weekly SETA and team lead technical tag-ups
• Support Change Management Board meetings as needed
• Provide technical SME support as an on-site E2 Systems Integration & Test Engineer
• Work in a classified lab on site
• Work in an Agile program environment
• Support the daily execution of activities on a complex satellite ground system, supporting internal and external stakeholder maintenance activities
• Support bi-weekly operational software deliveries and perform on-site E2 triage and support during business hours with after-hours on-call expectations.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 5 years of relevant experience with a MS
• Experience working on-site with multiple stakeholders
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems
• Experience with systems engineering principles and activities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, home-grown)
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with Linux operating system.
