About the position

The Senior Integration Engineer at Stanley will play a crucial role in the Digital Technology team by designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions that facilitate communication between various systems, applications, and data sources. This position is essential for optimizing technology investments and ensuring consistent processes and accurate data across geographically distributed teams, contributing to the growth and success of the Stanley 1913 brand.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect systems, applications, and data sources.
• Partner closely with product owners and business leaders to design, implement, and deploy integration solutions.
• Design and architect middleware solutions, including messaging systems, enterprise service buses (ESBs), API gateways, and integration platform features.
• Analyze infrastructure components and the various services underpinning the Integration environment, which includes BOOMI servers, Rabbit MQ and HSE integration tables.
• Work with architects and other senior contributors to ensure alignment with overall system architecture and business requirements.
• Be responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, and problem resolution for middleware platforms and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration practices, tools, and processes to maintain world-class standards.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer among multi-functional collaborators to ensure smooth handover of integration solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and standard processes in integration engineering.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or another related field.
• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting integration solutions and middleware solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and API management/API gateways.
• Demonstrated experience with various other enterprise data integration technologies, including Boomi.
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, RESTful services, SOAP, SQL, code management, and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise middleware solutions such as Oracle Fusion.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Proven knowledge of database technologies such as RDBMSs - SQL Server, DB2, NoSQL databases.
• High level of data literacy, including development of canonical models, resource definition, and schema design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
