About the position

The Senior Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading the development of integration solutions for various programs and projects within the Integrated Program Offices (IPO) and across the enterprise. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of integration/interface requirements, ensuring that applications and systems work together seamlessly to deliver end-to-end mission solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with systems engineers, solutions architects, and programmers to maintain the integrity of the system-of-systems enterprise, ensuring that all components function effectively together. In this role, the engineer will provide a total systems perspective, which includes a technical understanding of the relationships, dependencies, and requirements of both hardware and software components. The engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting solutions for total systems or subsystems, utilizing both internally developed products and commercial off-the-shelf solutions. Additionally, the engineer will assist the Government in performing systems integration activities, guiding the planning and analysis of user requirements, and ensuring that architectures are traceable and aligned with procedures and problem-solving efforts. The Senior Integration Engineer will also mentor and guide mid-level and junior system engineers in developing solution designs based on thorough analysis of requirements and emerging technologies. This includes assisting the Government in capturing and translating mission and customer requirements into actionable systems and capability requirements, ensuring that the solutions developed meet the needs of the stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integration solutions between Integrated Program Offices (IPO) and across the enterprise.
  • Provide a total systems perspective, including understanding relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
  • Plan, coordinate, and document solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf products.
  • Assist the Government in performing systems integration activities.
  • Guide the planning and analysis of user requirements and ensure architectures are traceable.
  • Review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior system engineers in developing solution designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
  • Assist the Government in capturing and translating mission and customer requirements into systems/capability requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field.
  • Senior-level experience in government or industry in database management or Big Data analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Database experience using SQL.
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience leading technical integration efforts.
  • Previous experience in IC or DoD Program/Project work.
  • Active DoD Top Secret w/SCI Clearance.
