About the position

The Senior Integration Engineer at Edify Technologies is responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex integration solutions, particularly focusing on Epic Bridges and MuleSoft. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and integration technologies, with a commitment to delivering innovative technology solutions that empower businesses. The position is a 12-month contract based in Dallas, TX, or Irvine, CA, and is part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving tangible results through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex integration solutions using Epic Bridges and MuleSoft.
  • Work with various integration engines such as Dell Boomi, IBM Integration Bus, and Jitterbit.
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions that adhere to HL7 standards and healthcare IT systems.
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript to create web services and APIs.
  • Leverage MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and CloudHub for cloud-based integration solutions.
  • Manage API technologies and ensure effective API management practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of relevant technology experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Integration Engineer, specializing in Epic Bridges and MuleSoft.
  • Strong familiarity with integration engines such as Dell Boomi, IBM Integration Bus, or Jitterbit.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare IT systems and HL7 standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) and web services (SOAP, RESTful APIs).
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and MuleSoft IDE Anypoint Studio.
  • Expert knowledge in REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, WSDL, RAML, YAML.
  • Hands-on experience in large scale SOA design, development, and deployment.
  • Experience with API management technology.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools and processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field.
  • Experience with enterprise software implementation.
  • Familiarity with Epic (HER) software system.
  • Experience with Microservices, Framework Development, and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Canonical Data Model (CDM) concepts.
  • Experience with GIT and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
  • Experience in the healthcare/retail industry.
