As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that leverage your deep knowledge of integration technologies and best practices. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking, solution design, timeline estimation, technical development, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for both internal and external integrations. You will be responsible for managing your workload effectively, ensuring that support activities are balanced with new development through demand management processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to articulate complex implementation processes and technology to non-experts and IT peers alike. In this role, you will utilize your proficiency in various integration technologies, including API, HTTP, SOAP protocols, JSON structure and manipulation, XML transformations, and database and SQL proficiency. Experience with tools such as Digibee is preferred. You will also be expected to have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems. A thorough understanding of integration architecture principles, data modeling, data storage, security, and data management practices is crucial. Your responsibilities will include defining, capturing, and documenting metadata and rules associated with ETL processes, as well as building and maintaining integration applications. You will analyze pipeline performance using metrics to ensure optimal functionality. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of total IT experience, particularly in Enterprise Integration, and a proven track record of increased levels of responsibility. You will also need to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, as well as development experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Celigo, GoAnywhere, Informatica, Workato, Boomi, AIS, or similar low-code integration tools. EDI experience is a plus, and the ability to facilitate prototyping sessions with various end users and stakeholders is essential.
