About the position

The Senior Intellimatch SQL Developer position is a critical role within the organization, located in New York City, NY, and operates in a hybrid work environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to working with IntelliMatch Classic and IntelliMatch NextGen, focusing on enhancing and building out new reconciliations and functionalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing reusable components that add functionality to the existing infrastructure, ensuring that the systems are robust and efficient. In this position, the developer will work closely with Modelers, Architects, and Database Administrators (DBAs) on data modeling, logical and physical schema design, and SQL query tuning. The role also involves applying data-related business rules while assisting in troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution. A significant aspect of the job is to automate testing and deployment capabilities, enabling the team to adopt Agile methodologies effectively. The developer will also be tasked with ensuring that proper tooling is in place to monitor and improve the stability of the systems, handling production issues, and addressing user tickets promptly. Effective communication is essential, as the developer will need to interact with end users, peers, and management regarding assignments. The ability to present complex analyses in a clear and actionable manner is crucial. The role also requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, particularly adjusted for Rapid Application Development methodologies like Agile. The developer will provide support for resolving reporting issues escalated by the Support Operations Team post-implementation and will collaborate with the global development team to ensure designs are implemented, tested, and presented to user groups.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing and building out new reconciliations and other functionality.
• Designing and implementing reusable components that add functionality to the existing infrastructure.
• Working directly with Modelers, Architects, and DBAs on data modeling, logical/physical schema design, and SQL query tuning.
• Assisting in troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Automating testing and deployment capabilities to enable Agile practices.
• Ensuring proper tooling is in place to monitor and improve system stability.
• Handling production issues and user tickets.
• Communicating effectively with end users, peers, and management regarding assignments.
• Demonstrating knowledge of SDLC processes adjusted for Rapid Application Development methodology.
• Providing support for the resolution of reporting issues escalated by the Support Operations Team post-implementation.
• Collaborating with the global development team to implement, test, and present designs to user groups.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with IntelliMatch Classic / IntelliMatch NextGen.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica is preferred.
• Experience with scripting/Autosys (Python, PERL) is helpful.
• Experience in Agile methodology and Agile development practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
