About the position

The Senior International Compensation Analyst role at Aires involves serving as a financial reporting liaison between clients and tax providers, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while managing worldwide compensation for expatriates and global transfers. This position is integral to the company's high-growth environment, leveraging significant experience to support clients and mentor less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reconciles worldwide compensation for assignees and global transfers.
  • Completes monthly billing.
  • Calculates expatriate allowances.
  • Creates compensation balance sheets.
  • Prepares cost projections.
  • Instructs global payrolls.
  • Reports shadow payroll in compliance with host location practices.
  • Leads clients in year-end process and provides support to less experienced team members.
  • Consults with clients on best practices and solutions to pain points within the programs.
  • Engages in the sales process, attends best and final presentations.
  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.
  • Completes VeriClock time entries weekly and billings monthly.
  • Responsible for accumulation and delivery of year-end compensation statements based on client schedule.
  • Liaises with tax provider to establish shadow payroll and year-end process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of expatriate tax experience, with a background in global mobility compensation.
  • Public accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Equus Platform compensation and cost estimate experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn client accrual reporting requirements using Excel and Aires technology tools.
  • SQL knowledge would be helpful.
