About the position

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Inventory Manager with extensive experience in senior operations and finance leadership. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in a vertically integrated OEM company. This individual will be responsible for establishing and optimizing operations inventory management processes across the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain and reporting within the operations organization. The role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement E2E inventory management procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain healthy inventory levels. In this position, you will collaborate with multiple sites across the E2E supply chain to ensure seamless inventory follow-up and actions. You will work closely with finance teams to align inventory strategies with financial goals and objectives, ensuring that inventory management supports the overall business strategy. Effective communication with leadership is crucial, as you will provide insightful inventory analysis and recommendations based on your findings. You will be responsible for generating and consolidating accurate inventory reports and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with site teams to proactively prevent and address Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory, developing and executing plans to optimize inventory turnover. Facilitating cross-selling initiatives between sites and working with re-sellers to maximize sales opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years proven experience in senior operations and finance leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management within a vertically integrated OEM company.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act on inventory data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple sites and departments.
  • Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce E&O and improve overall inventory performance.
