About the position

The Senior iOS Mobility Developer will lead a team focused on developing iOS native applications, ensuring that business needs are met through innovative solutions. This role requires a strong background in mobile development, particularly in Swift and Kotlin, and experience with emerging technologies such as MR/VR and AR. The developer will also mentor team members, manage production issues, and drive agile practices within the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team working on iOS native applications by helping them identify solutions to business needs.
• Mentor and help mature the agile-team in on-time and on-budget execution, while still delivering innovative and efficient solutions for our customers.
• Production issue triage and prevention as needed, release management support from a technical standpoint, and overall backlog maintenance.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining the industry best talent for the team.
• Research and Development of POCs, innovative new ideas for customer interactions with Delta.
• Drive work using industry leading agile practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Swift, Kotlin, or other mobile development languages, with a willingness to work in Swift/iOS and Kotlin.
• Experience in MR/VR and AR technologies.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, Recommendation Systems, Audio Processing, and GenAI.
• Knowledge of working in AWS/Azure is required.
• A good understanding of Agile Methodology is required.
• Ability to work well with others in a time-sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with languages such as Python and Java.
• Familiarity with building and integrating with GenAI and ML models.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and React.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
