About the position

The Senior IPS Business Analyst at HCA Healthcare plays a vital role in supporting the strategic initiatives of the Information Protection & Security (IPS) department. This position involves developing operational strategies, overseeing IPS projects, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive results. The analyst will work independently on complex projects while mentoring junior team members, ensuring clarity and structure in operational initiatives, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, execute, oversee, and maintain IPS Strategic Engagement processes.
  • Elicit, analyze, and manage requirements through all phases of operational work efforts.
  • Ensure completeness, consistency, and conformity to standards for process and documentation.
  • Make decisions across stakeholders based on analysis of requirements and conditions.
  • Foster effective relationships across stakeholders and manage conflicts as necessary.
  • Lead the identification and utilization of resources through organizational awareness.
  • Integrate company/department goals into the strategy of assigned work efforts.
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and execute plans and schedules.
  • Influence and manage accountability across stakeholders and escalate unresolved issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology required.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management/business analyst or equivalent role required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Project, Kanban, or other project management software required.
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in handling ambiguity and changing priorities required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CAP, ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC or other relevant project management/business analyst certification preferred.
